Case Summary:

Before Installing Configuration Manager 2007 R3, you need to install hotfix for System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3 as prerequisite, if hotfix package is not installed, you will receive the following error:

Solution:

You need to request hotfix from Microsoft and install it on

the following computers that are running System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2):

• Primary and secondary site servers
• Remote administrator console servers
• Remote provider servers
• Client computers

Note: During installation of ConfigMgr R3; wizard will create software package and program to deploy it to CCM Clients.
