Problem Description:

You prepare Windows 7 reference computer with Microsoft Application Visualization Client 4.5 with SP1, then you capture Windows image to deploy it with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager or Microsoft Deployment Tool 2010 (MDT 2010).

After you deploy Windows 7 image to clients, you tried to run Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint 2003 or 2007 file, then you receive the following error and file open with empty content:

There was a problem sending the command to the program

Solution:

Unfortunately I didn’t found solution with Master image till now, all we can do right now is the following:

In case we are using System Center Configuration Manager – Operating System deployment to deploy Master Image, we can do the following:

1- Create a new package in Configuration Manager – Software Distribution.
2- Deploy App-v client package using Task Sequence during Operating System Deployment.
